Littles Eating Veggies
We get asked a lot how we get our Littles to eat veggies all the time. Well... you supply the food at home so make good decisions at the grocery store. Monkey see monkey do! If you grab a cucumber and eat it, they will too. Also, have veggies easily available. Set a plate of veggies on the table instead of a bag of chips in the pantry. Never, ever say you don't like something that is good for you. Our Littles pick up on everything! My favorite snack is a cup of frozen peas and now our kids grab a cup full of frozen peas all the time!
LITTLE LESS STRESS HOMEMADE BIRTHDAY CAKE
My mom always made our birthday cakes so of course I am doing the same. Plus, everyone gets their very own birthday meal of their choice, no restrictions. With both sides of the family coming over to enjoy the carefully chosen homemade meal and birthday cake, it makes for a busy day. One birthday, I was running behind and the kids asked if they could help out. That was the year the kids started making their own cake! They love decorating it and now I have less to do. Win, win!
LITTLE EASTER KEEPSAKE IDEA
An egg for every year! When your Little one is born purchase 18 wooden eggs. Each year have your Little paint one egg. When they are 18 years old you will have the cutest progression of their artwork and the best Easter decoration.
A LITTLE MORE SLEEP
Our Littles were not the greatest sleepers, especially the twins. If we would have known about and had some of the products provided at Littles, our journey would have been easier. But we didn't have a local children's store at the time so we found other ways to cope. On the weekends, we would rotate who would get up in the morning with them and who got to sleep in a bit. Every week we got one day to catch up on sleep and it made a world of difference! Some parents think they have to both be active all the time and that is not the case. Give yourself some free time.
